I love the BUYology store on Carmarthen Road in Swansea, especially when they have a clearance sale!

Here is what DD found for next Christmas:
- 12 Tom Smith crackers £1.49 (a good size)
- 6 m wrapping paper 48p
- 12 m wrapping paper 48p
-16 mid size cards 28p (2 kinds)
- large gift bags (A$) 28p
- smaller (A5) gift bags 19p

They had lots more - including decorations - but she just bought what we needed to be ready for 2008.

Hope this helps somebody!

I haven't been there yet - other than Christmas stuff, is it worth a visit? I've passed there afew times on my way back through the Cwmdu site after going to Matalan.

It is def worth a visit!

I would say it is a cross between Hypavalue and the old Poundstretcher, but huge. Mostly small items, so not like Crazy Macs whch did carpets etc

They do some furniture, lots of household items- bathroom & kitchen, 'gifts', office stationery, toys, games, kids arts and crafts, tools, food, decorative items, some clothing eg socks etc, baby stuff, luggage etc etc

Lots of brands, also lots of tat, so a real happy hunting ground. They have some American style 'hand made' bears atm, which must have been expensive and now are £3 ish. also, the most hideous vases for about £5!

I got there last night and found more stuff for Xmas 2008:
    - cheapie crackers 49p (real plastic junk inside!)
    - loads of decorations under 49p
    - nice boxes of cards from 49p
    - all the xmas lights were reduced too.

We have one in Canton Cardiff, I always find I go in the £ shops as my mother calls them and spend about £20 or more. Thanks I'll look in, if the have any bargains perhaps I'll only spend £10.

The one in Barry has what appear to be IKEA pictures on sale for about £3-£5. So if you're in the market for a nice picture for the Spring it might be worth a look.
