Win A Car: Drive Away Happy + Fuel For A Year - Terms and Conditions
These specific competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, Bauer Media Group: Competition General Terms & Conditions at: https://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/competition-general-terms-and-conditions (the “General Terms”). 
Together these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms, these specific competition terms and conditions shall prevail. 

ITEM 1: COMPETITION NAME 
“Win A Car: Drive Away Happy + Fuel For A Year” running from the Start Date to the End Date as set out below (the “Competition”). 

ITEM 2: PROMOTER 
Bauer Radio Limited, registered office: Media House Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough, United Kingdom, PE2 6EA and registered under company number 01394141 (the “Promoter”). 
This is a Rayo Network Competition, running on the Websites. The Competition will be promoted on the Websites and on other channels including but not limited to radio stations, SMS, social media, apps, email newsletters and magazines. 

ITEM 3: WEBSITES 
The websites shall be www.winhappy.com and hellorayo.co.uk (the “Websites”).

ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE, END DATE AND ENTRY PERIODS 
Entry to the Competition will open and close as follows:  
Online and SMS Start Date: Sunday 28 September 2025 at 20:30pm
Online and SMS End Date: Sunday 02 November 2025 at 20:20pm;
Postal Start Date: Sunday 28 September 2025 at 20:30pm; and
Postal Entries Must Be Received By: Friday 31 October 2025 at 5:00pm. 
Any entries received outside the relevant entry route dates (as stated above) will be invalid, but you may still be charged. 
We reserve the right to broadcast the Competition at any time throughout each day during the broadcast schedule. 
Please note that the Competition entry periods as specified in these specific competition terms and conditions are final and are not impacted by the time of broadcast of announcements advertising how to enter the Competition, which may in some circumstances be delayed. 
 
ITEM 5: COMPETITION DETAILS 
After the Start Date, the prize (the “Prize”) will be announced on the Websites. The Prize will be what the entrants are trying to win. 
We reserve the right to announce the Prize at any time during the Competition. We may also advertise the Prize on-air, on social media or via an SMS marketing message or via any other medium at our absolute discretion. 
As part of the Competition, we may advertise multiple possible cars entrants could win but there is only one Prize available and all entries for the Competition will be pooled together into a single draw.  
After the Competition has closed, one entrant from all the valid entries will be selected by automated random draw.
The entrant who is randomly selected will win the Prize on offer. The entrant selected will be contacted by the Win Happy team to co-ordinate prize fulfilment. 
The entrant selected may be required to talk to a presenter / the programming team, and the call may be recorded and played on-air (assuming there is no breach of the Terms). 
 
ITEM 6: ROUTES OF ENTRY, ENTRY LIMITS AND COSTS 
Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with entering this Competition and entrants must have permission from the bill payer before entering. Bauer is not responsible for any network or technical issues an entrant may experience, which may delay or prevent their participation. 

SMS 
SMS entries must be received between the Online and SMS Start Date and the Online and SMS End Date. 
Entrants can send up to 8 SMS messages in total starting with the keyword CAR to 61025, 61054, 63103, 64100, 81215 or 65115. Entrants will receive 25 entries per message. A single SMS entry costs £5.00 (from the UK) + 1 standard network rate message. Entrants will receive an automated SMS response from 82205 to confirm their entry.
Entrants can send up to 3 SMS messages in total starting with the keyword TURBO to 61025, 61054, 63103, 64100, 81215, 65115 or 82210. Entrants will receive 100 entries into the Competition for the cost of 1 SMS message. SMS messages starting with TURBO cost £10.00 (from the UK) + 1 standard network rate message. Entrants will receive an automated SMS response from 82210 to confirm their entry. 
If the SMS message does not start with a valid keyword, or is not sent to a valid number, it will not be entered. SMS entries to the Competition may be charged outside of any inclusive message bundles. The delivery of this message may be delayed at peak times.  
We reserve the right to run bonus SMS entry incentives throughout the duration of the Competition. These incentives will be communicated via SMS message. Where we operate an incentive, the entry limits may change. 

ONLINE 
Online entries must be received between the Online and SMS Start Date and the Online and SMS End Date.
Entrants can enter each sub-competition a maximum of 500 times (including entry bundles) in total. This equates to a maximum of 1,500 entries to the Competition across the Websites in total.
A single online entry costs £2.50. The use of a debit or credit card may incur charges from your provider. There is a minimum basket spend of £2 on each of the Websites. 
We reserve the right to run entry incentives online throughout the duration of the Competition. These incentives will be communicated via email and/or the Websites. Where we operate an incentive, the online entry limit may change. 

POST 
Postal entries must be received between the Postal Start Date and Friday 31 October 2025 at 5:00pm. 
Entrants can enter the Competition by sending their name and a contact telephone number (including area code if providing a landline number) to WINHAPPY BR7014, PO Box 8162, Derby, DE1 9GU. Entries must be sent on a postcard or on or within an envelope. Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be valid or accepted. In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope or on a single postcard, only one entry will be entered into the Competition. 
There is no cap on the number of postal entries. 
  
ITEM 7: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS 
The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) live in the United Kingdom (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man), (ii) are not a Bauer employee or their immediate family (including live-in partner) and (iii) are not an employee of any third-party sponsors or prize providers, or their immediate family (including live-in partner). 
Entrants must have a valid UK mobile number, UK bank account in their own name, valid email address and UK postal address in their own name. 
All entrants must enter on their own behalf and may not enter on behalf of anyone else.  If we later become aware that the person who played the Competition was not the entrant themselves, we will disqualify this entrant and no prize will be payable to any persons involved. 
 
ITEM 8: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT 
Entrants who are randomly selected will be contacted by the phone number provided with their entry. We may contact entrants as part of a radio broadcast live on air or off-air. Due to programming schedules, this may not be broadcast on all participating radio stations. 
The name, hometown, photo and any video or audio recording of the winner may also be posted on the Websites and/or social media platforms and associated Bauer publications.
 
By entering the Competition, the entrant is automatically consenting to being contacted and having their name and location announced on-air, on the Websites and/or social media platforms and associated Bauer applications. 
Only one prize can be won throughout the duration of this Competition. Also, if an entrant has won more than £500 in any Bauer Media Competition over the past 6 months they are not eligible to win. For more details on this, please see item 4.11 ”Prize Limits” of the General Terms. 
 
ITEM 9: PRIZE DETAILS 
There will be one winner of the Competition and only one Prize is available. All entrants from each of the ‘sub-competitions’ will be pooled together and entered into one overall prize draw and the selected winner will be able to choose a prize from the following options: 
(a) a Mercedes A-Class plus one year of fuel; (b) a Mercedes C-Class plus one year of fuel plus one year of fuel; or (c) a Mercedes GLA plus one year of fuel.
We may offer a cash alternative at our discretion.

The one year of fuel will be paid as a cash payment of £1,098. This is calculated based on the average UK driver travelling 7,400 miles per year, a petrol price of £1.40 per litre and a fuel consumption of 42.9mpg (reflecting that stated fuel consumption of the Mercedes GLA). 
The cash alternative for the Mercedes A-Class is £22,000. The one year of fuel cash payment of £1,098 will be paid in addition to this amount.
The cash alternative for the Mercedes C-Class is £32,000. The one year of fuel cash payment of £1,098 will be paid in addition to this amount.
The cash alternative for the Mercedes GLA is £25,000. The one year of fuel cash payment of £1,098 will be paid in addition to this amount.
If the car, plus fuel, option is chosen, the Win Happy team will source the chosen car, for the winner, after the Competition closes. The £1,098 cash payment will be delivered to the winner by bank transfer or by cheque within 28 days of the winner passing our compliance checks. 
The cars advertised in the Competition are indicative and do not reflect the exact car the winner will win, but do reflect the model of the car they will win. The cars will be ‘nearly new’ or ‘new’. In this context, the cars will be 2025 (25) plate or newer.
If the cash alternative option is chosen, it will be delivered to a winner paid in cash, by bank transfer or by cheque within 28 days of the winner passing our compliance checks. 
Delivery or payment of the Prize is subject to the winner providing personal identification and/or proof of address and passing our internal compliance checks within 14 days of being contacted.
 
If we are unable to contact a winner to award the Prize within 14 days of the draw date, or if the winner is unable to provide us with personal identification and/or proof of address within 14 days of being contacted, the winner forfeits entirely their right to the Prize, and we reserve the right to award this to an alternative winner where possible. 
The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. Payment of any cash elements may take up to 28 days from the point at which the Promoter receives the correct details.
 
The car elements of the Prize are subject to availability. 

The car elements of the Prize do not include insurance, MOT or tax or any customisations or upgrades.
We will arrange for delivery of the car elements of the Prize. Bauer is not liable if you are unable to accept delivery at the agreed time. Any additional delivery and third party storage costs due to failure to accept the car element of the Prize at the agreed time are your responsibility.

We will work with the winner in good faith to arrange delivery of the car element of the Prize promptly and in good faith but we cannot be held liable for delays outside our reasonable control.

Where, it emerges after the Prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of the Terms, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration. We reserve the right to exclude individuals who breach the Terms from entering our competitions. 

ITEM 10: DATA PROTECTION  
By entering the Competition by SMS, entrants are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications from the Promoter via SMS text message. Entrants can opt out of this at any time by texting: STOP to 61025, 61054, 63103, 64100, 81215, or 65115. This will be charged at 1 standard network rate message. Entrants’ personal data will (regardless of whether they opt-out) always be used to process their entry. ITEM 11: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENT 
We will sometimes (at our discretion) telephone entrants and ask them to speak on-air. They have the right to refuse. If they consent, their voice will be recorded and they consent to this recording being used on our radio broadcasts. Entrants agree that we will own this recording and that a copy of it will be stored for further exploitation, which may include promotion. 
Entrants will not be put through to speak on-air if we think they are driving illegally, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our listeners. Whilst on air for the purposes of this Competition entrants must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage the reputation of the Promoter, is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if the entrant has won the Prize, this will be forfeited. 

ITEM 12: OTHER CONDITIONS 
We will only accept entries that comply with the Terms, and we may disqualify the entrant if we know or suspect that they have breached them. If the disqualification occurs after a winner has been announced, one further entrant from all the valid entries will be selected by automated random draw and awarded the Prize. 
All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into about the operation of this Competition. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or suspend this Competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control. 
We reserve the right to amend the Terms. 
By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by the Terms.
