Hello,
I recently opened a CL account for the swich bonus, but I was wondering if you need to deposit the £2000 to not pay the £5 monthly from a non lloyds account?
I also have the standard classic account, which l was going to use for the transfer.

Ok, thanks for that information.retiredbanker1 said:It does not matter where the funds come from.1 -
Just for clarity - does that mean you can transfer the 2,000 pounds from a Lloyds savings account into your club Lloyds account and then back out again into the Lloyds savings account0

Yes, that'll work. But the Lloyds savings accounts that'll allow it offer pretty abysmal interest rates.mta999 said:Just for clarity - does that mean you can transfer the 2,000 pounds from a Lloyds savings account into your club Lloyds account and then back out again into the Lloyds savings account1 -
Also, it doesn't have to be £2k in one go though it may be easier to track if it is. You may find that other transactions in "each calendar month" taken you over the £2k.
