So £6k would be deducted leaving no need to make a claim for a tax refund.0 -
6k would be workable i had naively thought abut 4.5k is but 6k is doable.

As a basic rate taxpayer ot would be £4,800 that's payable on £24,000.
You just need to be careful about tipping into the higher rate bracket for the year as a whole.0 -
