Bought item registered as stolen - how do I contact EBay?

Bought an electronic device from a private seller in trying to set it up turns out it can’t be registered as it has been  reported lost or stolen.

how do I contact EBay about this? Every pathway I try sends me down a ‘contact seller’ or ‘report as not received’ route and the EBay guidance on stolen goods only seems to relate to sellers. 

I want EBay to step in here - but how on earth do I make contact?

Send a request  to return through e bay, they respond then or at least they did when i requested one,

return - item not as described. They will then be liable for return postage

Request a return and you'll get a postage label.  As the seller is playing silly b*****s I'd be tempted to also report it to the police once you have their name and address

DO NOT request a change of mind return - the seller can refuse it and you will be unable to open another case. 
Make sure its a return under 'not as described' - you will not be liable for any return postage costs and will be refunded in full.
