indoor security camera mains powered recommendations

Hi
We are looking to instal 2 indoor security camera with 4 or 5MP clarity, day and night vision, motion detection and giving alerts.
Not keen on battery powered ones or those with adaptors. They are to be installed pretty high on the walls. No power sockets near by and not keen on any trunking etc.But there is light bulb socket and we were hoping to get power supply off it.
Any recommendation of cameras with about features which could be powered directly by mains?
many thanks

Direct mains power is not something I've seen outside of specialist commercial/industrial applications.

Also powering from a lighting circuit is less than ideal for various safety reasons - including isolation and also taking out the lighting if something goes wrong with the camera.

You might want to consider PoE options - as that would help avoid having multiple adaptors and cables, whilst also avoiding having mains voltage at the camera.

I use the lilltelf. USB powered so 5 volt so only need very thin wires.

You don't really get mains powered cameras so much as you do ones that run off plug in transformers. The batteries are actually quite long lasting, but if you want ones that plug in from a transformer, remember you'll have to hide the transformer too, then Eufy and Tapo are both pretty good. That being said there's probably a number of other equally good manufacturers
Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!
