Used M6 toll road but fee not taken
Earlier in the week we used the M6 toll road and my husband tapped his credit card to pay the fee. I regularly check the bank account and saw the fee was pending. Until this morning when it has ‘dropped off’ and is no longer pending or paid .
We don’t have any sort of receipt or proof of payment. What should I do? Do I phone them to make payment again by telephone or simply wait and risk a fine for non-payment?
Any ideas why a pending payment for a service used would not get paid?

Well, the situation resolved itself. Today it shows as paid so I’m rather glad that I didn’t rush in and try to pay by phone. I should simply have been a little more patient.1

Just give M6 Toll a quick call. If the payment failed, they'll tell you and take it over the phone. Better to be proactive than risk a fine.0

What a palaver. Best avoid the road.0
