Can't park at paybyphone car parks

Hi,
Please let me explain...I dont have a smartphone. I have a dumbphone. I also have a laptop.
When i try to park in a paybyphone car park, i ring the paybyphone number on my dumphone, and it asks for my PIN number.......however, my PIN number is now not recognised for some reason (it always used to be). So then i have to go through the motions, and then it says it has sent me a code in a text (ie to verify my identity) , and then asks me to input that code........but i am on a dumbphone....and i cant read texts whilst i am on a call....so i cant follow their instructions........so i cant pay for parking.

...so then i try and start a new account, but then it says my phone number already has an account so it wont let me start a new one.

Do you know what i can do?.....there is no way of contacting anyone at paybyphone.

    a) get a smartphone

    or

    b) find a dumbphone that allows you to read texts whilst on a call (are you sure yours does not?)

    or

    c) find car parks where you can pay in cash.

They arent going to change their procedures to suit the minority (which with all due respect, you are, by choice)

    Write down code, call again.
If its anything like OTPs you get online it likely changes each time anyway

So your decision to avoid one of the most ubiquitous devices of our time means one particular payment method is unavailable to you, until such time as you reset your pin via the same web connection you're using to post here.

It's only if there's no other payment method available that that car park becomes unavailable to you. I can't say I've ever come across any car park where phone is the ONLY available method.

If you've also chosen to restrict your payment methods by not carrying cash that, again, is your decision.
