Waiting to see if there's a ticket from Basingstoke railway station...

The driver had to pick someone up at the train station and went to the car park there.
The signage said use the Ringo app or go to the station's ticket machines.
Not having the Ringo app, the driver walked to the ticket machines.
The cheapest option on the machine was £5 off-peak daily, which was excessive for a 30 min pick-up.
On asking one of the staff there, they said that there was an hourly rate of £1.70 via the Riingo app only.
After consideration, the driver decided to decline the options and leave.
The keeper is now waiting to see if anything untoward arrives in the post...

Depends on the station and the PPC I had to go to both Axminster and Yeovil stations (what an absolute joke of a station) on Friday due to South West Rail's totally awful useless service expecting two ladies with pre-booked tickets to end up at midnight on the last train because they cancelled all the others "due to excessively dry ground" (I kid you not).
Both stations use APCOA, all sorts of threats and a mass of tiny print unreadable in almost total dark at Yeovil (how safe is that for lone travellers) but not an ANPR camera in sight as far as one could tell, certainly not at Axminster.
It raises the temperature of my urine to steam to see how utterly dreadful our railways have degenerated.

Basingstoke station has a 20 minute free drop off period, if they entered and exited under that time there should be no issue.
