Wedding Insurance

I want to purchase wedding insurance for my daughter’s wedding. I am paying for most of the wedding e.g. reception etc  but she and her fiance are paying for other things e.g. photography, suits, dress. Does wedding insurance cover the wedding no matter which of us pay or is it just the things paid for by the policy holder that are insured?
Thanks for any advice.

The policy holder is normally the only one who can claim for the payments they have made linked to their card / receipt.
Maybe use a credit card to help with any unforeseen problems OR get a joint card / account where you can both use it to pay for different items but deposit or clear card with your own money. Normally you would have to take out separate policies. It is worth speaking to the broker concerned to confirm their T&C's.
