APCOA Ticket Manchester Airport

I have received a parking charge notice from APCOA after dropping my son and his wife off at Manchester Airport. They paid the parking fee whilst they were in the departure lounge. They have sent me a copy of the receipt and I have just noticed they have got one of the number plate letters incorrect and a second letter is correct but in the wrong place. It Is a personal number plate but it is clear to see the mistake. It has been a while since I was last on the site but I have always been very grateful of the help I was given. I appreciate it is up to me to do all the legwork but I would be grateful if someone could help me start the ball rolling. I am hoping that POPLA will accept that payment was made and will overturn the Parking Charge...Is that too much to hope for?

    Wrong approach.

The keeper just uses the words about the POFA in the Airport drop off group thread, which we won't link - go look!

    100% win awaits.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thanks Coupon-mad; I have found the killer response and am completing the online appeal.
Should I mention that a passenger paid the parking fee and quote the receipt number?
