    1) If you are not the Registered Keeper of the vehicle,  how did UKPC obtain your details in order to send you a PCN with your name and address on it   ?

    2) Surely UKPC posted the NTK PCN letter to the Registered Keeper,  not you  ?
    Please answer these 2 queries
    my wife is the registered keeper

    If you are still at appeal stage, that unlit t&cs sign that is obscured by foliage also has the £100 in very small font indeed. An appeal with that as evidence and saying the car park was dark and unlit, can win at POPLA.

    The person who got the POPLA code appeals.

    Thank-you i still say i was parked on company premises because of the way the roadway changes and even in that sign where the diagram says no parking on roadway i was no-where near it.

    I think i will appeal at popla as this makes them work as well

    my points will be
    parking on company premises behind roadway marking
    signage not correct font and unlit
    no signage on entry to company premises where first sign says see notice in car parks for teams and conditions when there isn't any

    Thank-you Coupon-mad and everyone else for sharing your invaluable knowledge

    Don't forget to use the usual POPLA paras re landowner agreement.
  • I suspect that POPLA will dismiss those images as there is no date stamp included, you also need a general view showing lack of signage, from a driving perspective.

    3.1.2 The entrance sign must display:

    a) the fact that terms and conditions apply to accessing/parking on the site;

    b) whether payment is required, or whether free parking is only available for a

    limited period;

    c) the name of the parking operator;

    d) the logo of the ATA to which the parking operator belongs; and

    e) where payment is required, whether on-site cash payment is available.

    f) Private land

    The entrance sign must not imply an invitation to park where public parking is

    not permitted.

    The size and positioning of the sign must take into account the expected speed

    and direction of travel of vehicles approaching the entrance and must be visible

    (i.e. not be obscured e.g. by foliage or other objects). The design of entrance

    signs must comply with the requirements detailed at Annex A.

    https://www.britishparking.co.uk/write/Documents/AOS/NEW%20Redesigned%20Documents/sectorsingleCodeofPractice.pdf

    Without an entrance sign stating it is private land and terms apply there is nothing to say it isn't public highway with no restrictions.
