Letter Before Claim Forecourt Eye/Moorside Legal

I recently received a letter from Trace Debt recovery, for an alleged debt relating to obtaining fuel without paying. The alleged theft is stated as FOUR years ago, August 2021. I have never in my life not paid for any fuel I've received. Whilst in the process of obtaining 4 year old bank statements, to try and prove my innocence, Trace have now passed my details on to Moorside Legal, who have sent me a Letter Before Claim. None of the previous correspondence has provided any details of their claim and only provide details of how to pay.
I've read through the Newbies post relating to Parking fines, can I use the same advice/templates to respond to the Letter Before Claim (making the obvious changes to any parking references) and can I still refer to POFA section 4 regarding registered keeper/ named driver?
Many thanks
Norty

Search the forum for Forecourt Eye UKCPS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
