Home Insurance - with a public footpath running through the property

Hi all,
I’m in the process of buying a property and have recently discovered that a public footpath, which runs alongside the property, is actually owned by the property itself. Does anyone know if this means I’ll need specialist home insurance to cover any potential public accidents or liability issues on the footpath? Is this expensive?
Any advice or experience would be much appreciated. I am waiting for my existing insurer to get back to me.
Thanks in advance.

Normal home insurance includes owners liability and occupiers liability cover as standard, which will cover injuries to people on your property for which you're legally responsible.2
