Yodel is rebranding to Yodel by InPost

I suspect sellers on Vinted all have received this message, not sure if they have also sent them out on Ebay as I don't use Yodel at all on there.

"Hi,

Earlier this year, we announced that Yodel became a part of InPost UK. From 15th September 2025, you may notice some changes as we update our brand to Yodel by InPost. These changes will be across our app, website and our emails. You might have already seen our new logo, and over the coming weeks you can expect to see a change in our look, with more InPost references included in our branding.

Please be assured that all of our services will continue as normal, and you don't need to take any action while these changes are made.

Thanks,

The Yodel by InPost Team"

    Yodel - Inpost - Potatoe - Potarto.

Still a very inefficient service. Whoever is in charge of logistics really needs to sort it out.

My most recent experience. A small package dispatched from somewhere in London.

15 June – Package at Wrexham Depot – around 60 miles from my home
    address.

18 June – Package at Hatfield Depot (Hertfordshire) – over 200
    miles from my address.

19 June – Package back at Wrexham Depot.

19 June - 2pm - It actually arrived. The driver agreed with me - total despair.

Why is my package doing the tour of Britain before it gets to me ??

On the basis that it was in Wrexham on 18 June, I could have taken delivery days ago.

How is this performance helping to save the planet?

Looking at social media feedback, I'm not the only recipient struggling to understand this mess.

Shanker, I once had it explained to me that if your parcel is in cages that reach a bottle neck, such as a depot that's full, the system will move it to the next available depot, on the basis that anywhere is one step nearer the final destination, apart from your one that is.
