Large letters RM delays

I know we have had threads regarding RM delaying letters and potentially LLs as well, but I've now had 3 'where's my item' messages in less than 24 hours.

I personally think the buyers are being a bit prompt ,1 was sent Tuesday and 2 on Wednesday, but according to ebay all should have arrived by now. Luckily 2 of them were using ebay SD so I have referred the buyers to ebay but one is a custom postage, and I suspect I'm going to be hit with an INR quickly (its one of the Wednesday ones) as buyers feedback left for others does have a few mentions of 'slow' postage.

It's even worse on Vinted - although not RM, I have several items now with the 'it looks like your item is taking longer than usual' message, 2 Yodel and 1 Evri. I'm hoping it's just a bad run and a co incidence, but it's worrying if we are supposedly coming up to the busy season for parcels.

I think Ebay's estimate of expected arrival is not realistic at all.  It still works on 2- 3 days for 2nd class delivery.  And it doesn't take into account my long dispatch time.  We know that RM has announced that it will deliver letters twice a week only. 

I had a 4 day dispatch on one of my items and Ebay's expected delivery date was same as my last day of dispatch.  In my case the large letter took exactly 10 days to reach.  Luckily my buyer was very understanding and did not open a request at the first opportunity.  Every time I apologised to him, he said it was not my fault.   We need more buyers like him!
