Shawbrook - maturity option rates guaranteed?

May I ask those who've had experience with maturing Shawbrook fixed rate accounts (whether or not ISAs), if they selected an option 3 - 4 weeks prior maturity, is that rate guaranteed if the rate subsequently drops?

Thanks.

IME yes, and it was stated in the pre-maturity communication I received that rates would be honoured.

I haven't had a fixed term account with them mature for a while though, so I don't know their current stance.

    Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, on the correspondence I've got, it just states that rates are subject to change and that it may be different by the time a new account is applied for.

This in itself could imply rates are held at the time of application, but it is unclear.
