Britannia parking charge
Surfallday
I have received a letter from Britannia parking. I did forget to pay I'll be honest. I have followed the newbies and appealed it to them directly but they have refused and still demanding me to pay the charge. Do I just pay the £60 or appeal it to POPLA ?

It was a beach car park local to me. I appealed the charge by saying this.
I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner. There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. Since your PCN is a vague template, I require an explanation of the allegation and your evidence. You must include a close up actual photograph of the sign you contend was at the location on the material date as well as your images of the vehicle. If the allegation concerns a PDT machine, the data supplied in response to this appeal must include the record of payments made - showing partial VRNs - and an explanation of the reason for the PCN, because your Notice does not explain it.If the allegation involves an alleged overstay of minutes, your evidence must include the actual grace period agreed by the landowner0 -
You can just ignore them but check the NTK pictures thread to see if yours is a POFA or non-POFA worded NTK.
A non-POFA one would be easy to win at POPLA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I don't quite know what a POFA is. I'll try and compare them.Coupon-mad said:No idea. You need to compare both sides to the NTK pictures thread resource.

Could be subject to bylaws but I have not been able to find a plan or chart to see if the carpark is within port limits0

I guess the keeper could appeal on that basis and put them to proof that it isn't, given this is the Harbour car park.sidsnoteveret said:Could be subject to bylaws but I have not been able to find a plan or chart to see if the carpark is within port limitsPRIVATE 'PCN'?
