prefect credit report but still rejected

Looking for some advice.
Both my Wife and I and high earners with a combined income of over £180K. We have just paid over 50% of the mortgage. So, we have plenty of equity. We have no credit cards or loans, and never use our overdraft. Both have had stable jobs for over 10 years each.
3 months ago, we applied to our mortgage providers for money for an extension. This was rejected at the credit report stage.
I checked our credit reports with Experian, no issues. Check Equifax, and I havea CCJ from 2.5 years ago for a parking issue. This was paid the same day of finding it (3 months ago). Looking into the CCJ it was issued to my old address. At the start of September, this was set aside with the court. This is now removed from all credit reports.
No changes to finances and now have each got perfect reports with all of Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion with no history of the CCJ.
We reapplied today and were rejected again at the credit check point. It has now been passed to an underwriter for review.
I have sent them the court letter, the consent order, and all 3 of our credit reports.
What are my options as I can’t see any issues with any credit reports?

I'm very surprised that the CCJ's have been removed from your Credit File already if the set aside was only granted less than 3 weeks ago. Are you 100% sure?
If it's not the CCJ causing rejection then there is something else about your finances the lender doesn't like.
Age, current mortgage, other borrowings?0 -
Yes, I have my reports when it was on record, and the reports today without it.
both early 40s, no other borrowings, no issues with our mortgage. Over 50% paid off0 -
Sounds like a lack of credit history is the issue, not easily fixed in the short term.0

We have had loans, and CC is the past (no missed or late payment), but no need for them now0

Could it be the location of property, it's energy efficiency or such.
As some lenders change their lending policies to reflect the above.Life in the slow lane0 -

Whether you need it or not it's recommended you keep a credit facility to maintain your credit history. A credit card paid in full each month would do just that.1 -
