Parkingeye balance 0?

Hello,
I've read the FAQs and this time my case actually is different lol
I parked in a car park in a disabled bay with my badge displayed and registered my number plate at that place here I was going - it was a tablet you just type the plate into
I was assured I could park in this car park despite signs saying otherwise because I needed a disabled bay
Typically parkingeye sent a postal PCN (no windscreen) but when I went to appeal it wouldn't let me and said balance 0?
Do I need to contact them? Should I leave it?
I suppose they received the registration from the venue after issuing an automated PCN but just want to check I should leave it
Thanks

ThanksAnother check might be to log into the PE payment portal, as if you were going to pay the charge (obvs don't!), and look at the status of it. Take a screenshot, and retain for posterity, if that shows '0' or some other statement in your favour. Let us know.Come back on this thread if you get any further hassle from PE.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Cheers both the pay link and appeal link go to the same page which is this:
There's no option to make any payment here after clicking pay now.
If there's anything further I'll post again
Thanks!4 -
An update on this - received a letter from parkingeye saying the charge has been cancelled but no explanation why.
I suppose as I thought the fine was issued automatically before the plate was submitted to them

That's good, but it was never a "fine"1
