Recovering money after the court ordered the defendant to pay
I bought a used car part from breakers yard. They sent the wrong part and informed them within the 14 days that the product was wrong. They would not take the product back and offer me a refund. I took the company to court after filing at small claima court. The defendant came and admitted in the court that yes they did send out the wrong item and will pay. The judge ordered the defendant will have to pay the claimant within 14 days. The defendant went away and filled an apeal for which he did not turn up which meant that the original judgement stands. What steps would i have to take now to recover the money as I have phoned the court for the next step and they told me we do not give advice and seek legal help yourself. Can somebody please point me in the right direction.
