I was checking out centerparcs too:D - looks quite promising - let me know if you hear of a code;) .

Waiting to see what else is going to be on in the Norfolk/Suffolk area too - fancy an 'old-fashioned' Christmas market visit myself.

I wonder whether the fact that Lapland UK were very popular last year means they've overestimated what an average family can/will pay for a half-day out....? Also wondered whether the change of venue costs them more so that's been factored in? Either way, will be interesting to see if they sell all their spaces this year......

Yep - I'm searching frantically for a code but dont want to wait too long for the prices to go up!

There are a few codes working at the minute - just depends what date you want - SAVE, FAMILY and PPPZ have given my 10% or 15% off various dec dates.
At the minute its £425 for a weekend in on of the higher grade lodges for the weekend before christmas. Cheapest lodges are £350. LaplandUk would cost £340 for 4 of us for a half day! I hope they dont sell out. Many of the reviews on tripadvisor last year were less than impressed and that was at £30 a head or whatever it was - not £85! And how anyone can justify a hike of £55 for bangers and mash and a chocolate mousse I'll never know!

We went to Lapland UK last year and had a great time!

I was thinking of booking again this year, but there is no way I am going to pay those prices!!

I think they've taken leave of their senses tbh!

They had some terrible reviews last year, so I'd have thought new people would be wary of paying loads more to go this year? We'll see, I guess - let's hope people vote with their feet!

    Hi,

For anyone that is interested in the Lapland UK and wants to make a proper break of it to make it better value. I have got a family room booked at the £9 sale rate for 4th December (Thursday) in Tunbridge Wells (the closest one) if anyone would like to buy this from me? I had it as I was booked to go to the Lapland UK experience near there on the Friday however I have had to cancel this. So would be ideal for anyone wanting to do the same thing and save travelling there early on the Friday morning. It has the 10% discount breakfast booked for 2 adults and 1 child, therefore the total cost for this would be £22.50.

Please let me know if anyone is interested in this deal as I know when I last checked these rooms had gone up to £49.

  • This looks really good but it looks like it's only open for a few days

My Dad has, today, booked to take us to Lapland UK for £275 for 5 of us, we do know at least 3 people who went last year & they had a fantastic time, one of the few complaints we heard was about the food situation so maybe the improvement will be worth it.
I must admit I wouldn't have paid that much, we are saving up to go to the real Lapland in a few years time, but my parents live in Tunbridge Wells so this is a very easy family day for them & their only grandchild, plus my Dad is not in the best of health &, in his words, is making the most of every opportunity before he snuffs it! Hopefully we will come away with some lovely memories.
    I'll post a review after I've been, we're going early, 19th November.
