Management Pack

Hi all
we have just accepted an offer on our house.
I understand our solicitors will have to obtain a management pack to pass onto the buyers solicitors.
from what ive heard this pack can take anything from 2-6 ish weeks.
do we pay for this pack upon the solicitors requesting it or right before it is released to them by the management company?
the solicitors do take ages to respond to me, someone is always out of office or in a meeting etc so thought id try my luck and ask here
thanks all

I think most management companies would want the fee right at the outset before they started doing any work.
But maybe the best solution is to phone the management company and ask them how much their fee is, when they want it paid, how long they take to produce a management pack, etc.
And try to find out the name of the person or team responsible for producing management packs, so that after your solicitor has made a request and paid the fee, you have a contact point to chase the management company - if required.

thanks allMy point would be if you have only just accepted an offer and your conveyancers are already causing
issues by not responding, can you not change?A good conveyancer is everything I’ve found and they are certainly worth any extra cost (although the good ones don’t always cost more)0
