Wrong plate same car

Hi, My daughter recently changed her plate to a private plate & when she went to park for free on the road with the Ringo app because she had not updated her private plate she selected her original number plate , received the PCN challenged it provided her documents as it was very recent for the change over (within 2 weeks) they have refused the to cancel. Surely it's an hour free parking regardless the vehicle is the same one & they are refusing on the basis its the drivers responsibility to ensure correct details are entered . This seems unfair as it's a minor error car parking was free anyway..... what to do please

Changing the details on the App would have taken 5 mins.

take no notice of the above , you have fallen into a national scam that is parking on private land.We will need to know who the PPC is and where this dastardly deed took placeYou both need to look at the newbies thread ..... it will be your guide ......3

It was on a road not private land the PCN has been issued by the council0

Did your daughter notify the DVLA and her Insurance company of the change of Registration on the vehicle?
