Have managed to save about 150 quid on items that I had looked through beforehand, put in basket and then put the order through, thinking by chance I would get something still in stok.Bit like the M&S order I did on chrissy eve . Had to go through to the boots customer service though to get my order through as it wouldn't go through online.Thnaks to op for giving us the nod!

thanks for the heads up on the trike. great find. got my oreder in, got my number and email, went to check again and shown out of stock, how lucky was i ! my son will be so thrilled. happens so much on boots. i just bought this even though more id like but was unlucky with a pram not so long back, had it in basket, went shopping again and it had gone.

Thanks for consoling me. I made a decision now that on Monday I will be at Boots by 8 am and spend my £120 points to buy from store instead. Normally Monday is my day-off that I wake up at 11 am and do nothing for the whole day.

But next Monday I will surprise my whole family, esp my sons to see their mummy leaving home before they going to school. I will catch a bus, not waiting for my OH to send me there after school time. Hope I can do this as it is very difficult for me to get up early. Normally my DH manages everything with kids in the morning as I usually stay late night for my work.

Now I gave up to check online stock. Many showed instock when I used the search option, but when I clicked to add them, they were out of stock.

Good luck with your shopping quest, ptyks! (You might want to ring your store before you set out - i've heard conflicting reports about whether the 75%-off in-store sale will be starting on Monday or Tuesday.) At least you get to spend your points in store, rather than 'real' money. (£120 in points - wow! )

Also, if you'd rather shop on-line most of the time, keep an eye on the Boots site over the next few weeks. Last year, I got some gift goodies (eg. mulled wine sets at 75%-off) towards the end of January. I suspect they only release a few lines of sale stuff at a time, to make sure they clear it. For example, I haven't seen any no.7 make-up at 75%-off yet (maybe it's just that I missed them).

Ooh cant wait for monday:D whats the earliest i could call boots on monday to confirm the 75% sale starts then? dont want to get the bus there (£3.90:eek: ) only to find its not on:o (ill have to wake my son up too, bad mummy:o )

Booooo!:( I just got back from College and came on P.C and realised the 75% sale has started! Never mind at least i have Monday to look forward to! I will be the crazy/manic looking 1 with the big black coat on(weather depending) running in and moonwalking all the way back out with my bargains:D
P.S Don't worry if you see me doing the above i'm not crazy honest!!Just over excitable!
Still no new magazines in our Boots either all the No7 clearance stuff will be gone by the time my store gets them:(

Is that in Bon Accord or not? There were none in there on Monday but was going to pop in later to see if they'd put them out yet.
