On a moneysaving note, why buy Calpol for your kids? You can get paracetamol suspension free on prescription for your children. It may or may not be Calpol, depending on what your pharmacist has in.

Also, glad to see plenty of Preston/Blackpool bootsers about still - I've not been around since the suncare 6-for-1 glitch - still got stacks of the stuff. I'm hoping dh will take me into town for the 75% sale as I can't carry heavy bags at the moment. Look out for a grumpy looking husband trailing in the wake of an excited looking bootser!

I buy Calpol because it the only one my little girl will take readily, and when she is unwell I don't want the fuss of forcing her to take medicine unless I really have to. Don't ask me why she will only take calpol, she is 18 months and will only drink from a pink cup too  I've tried to fool her, but its not worked yet :D

Does anyone know if I buy a No7 item and pay with points would I still be able to use the free highlighter voucher?

    Hello everyone,

I am thinking of buying a reduced perfume set with my advantage points as a treat, there is currently a third off. Does anyone know if perfume sets get reduced further like other sale items or should i get it now whilst i can??

    Any advice gratefully received,

i'm truly amazed by how many Blackpool/Preston Bootsers there seem to be on here!

Perhaps we should all wear a carnation on Sale Day, so we can spot each other!

Another Prestonian here..... Hoping that the sales will be good as I have been so disappointed with boots for the last few months. I started about this time last year when there were loads of bargains and glitches to be had: the 6-4-1 no7 suncare, botanics free moisturisers, the free no7 pedicure & massage sets with the £5 off n07 voucher, the free illuminating mirror with the parenting voucher, loads of points glitches etc etc. So far its been pretty poor this year, so fingers crossed for the sales... still loads of stock at fishergate:)
  • my local(ish) boots has got some lovely things that i want to get in the 75% sale and i was just wondering whether the online sale takes stock from stores or whether they have a seperate warehouse??
    thanks in advance

Last year the perfume sets were still only 1/3rd off when everything else went to 75% off - Maybe they are flogging them full price for Valentines Day in a few weeks?
  • I'm a fairly new Preston "Bootser"....only started shopping thee when hubby started to get discount as he works for a partner company.
Then discovered this thread so am well into getting as many bargains as possible!

Went to Deepdale yesterday and used the £5 Skincare voucher to get a face exfoliator.....paid £0!
That was the best shopping trip ever.

Resisted the urge to go to the back of the store and browse the 1/2 price stuff as don't want to but until it's at least 75% off!!!
