off topic, but what do boots do with the free gifts eg sjp diary, paris hilton toy dog, david beckham towel etc when the promotions end. is there somewhere were they sell them on
I think they give them away. I was in boots a couple of years ago, and they seemed to be having a sort out, and the SA was handing out free bags to whoever walked past. He told me that they were freebies, that were left over.
I was given a Cream Lancome shopper with zip and luggage label. Nice bag, bit I would ever use a cream one. So I ambled around the store again trying to look like a different person.  I saw another SA sorting the bags out, so had a look at products next to him. He offered me another cream bag. But I spotted one black one and asked if I could swop?? Cheeky I know, but he did not mind. I use it every time I go shopping. Also been given free samples of perfume. But Nothing recent.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

They also stick the leftover gifts in a giftbag as a present to year11 pupils who complete work experience there for 1 or 2 weeks. My sister was given
a loreal powder brush,no7 gwp .perfume samples & a ck towel, natural collection soap and mini clinique samples a few years ago.Oh & a £1gift voucher.
P.s -Few months ago I saw a Perfume Sa give a lady britney spears fantasy lipgloss and a black xs necklace because the miss sixty gwp was out of stock.Love can tame the wildest0 -
Hello fellow bootsers! Not really been on much recently so been missing a few of the good glitches  ! All thanks to this bl@@dy pregnancy (only 12 days left to go till due!) well anyway off to boots in the morning, so gonna get a No7 highlighter was just wondering though if they go through the tills with the reduced stuff or does the till have to be overridden? Feeling far too hormonal and uncomfy to argue and dont really wanna spend a fortune on No7 as already have f-a-r to much makeup and i dont even wear it!!!
Oh if i buy 2 x wipes @ 6.50 plus the highlighter on 3 4 2 .... pay just 6.50 will a No7 extra points voucher work too?
Sorry for all the q's preggy brain recently lol0 -
Hi jeni-b
I'm still finding my feet too, and don't get on as much as I'd like (my toddler has taken over the laptop) but it's a great thread full of lovely gals (& guys!)
Good luck in your Boots bargains quest

The upto half price fragrances are online again Here just the usual ones. Looks like they have fixed the extra 500pts glitch though on the £50 spend."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. Could any of you nice bootsers give me some idea on the age range for some of the bargains I have picked up. I have five nieces who will be 6, 10, 11, 12 and 19 this year. My sons are 3 and 5 so we may have some girls birthday parties for 3 and 5 years olds. I also buy for my mother and MIL and my 40 year old foster sister. Thank you.

Sorry for the long list, I am a bit useless when it comes to girly stuff.
Hi
Not sure what some of them are so can't give advice on all of them but my almost 6 year old dd would love or has already got the following:
Littlest Pet Shop Get better set
Spotz maker
Cordz Ultimate Art Studio
Tutti Cuti Puppy Love Stationary Bag

You'll probably find that from age 10+ to grown-ups all of the smellies / make up sets would be welcome!

I decided to pay another visit to the 2 big Boots near me so set off this morning. The 1st store did not have a great deal except a whole load of the Rubie and Millie Eyeshadow sets so I got 2 to put away for pressies. I also saw some lovely chocolates with no price on so I asked a SA who said thy were 75% off and down to £1.25. So I bought 3 and a few other bits I split my shopping into batches so that I could use 100 point slips from ACM for £15.00 spend. I then spent 3 of my skin care vouchrs on Time Dela wipes and exfoliator. I then used one of my highlighter vouchers with a £1.00 tan wpe. The girl then said it was down to 50p so I was really pleased. When I got bak to the car I realised that the last box of choccies had gone through at full price. I went back and the girl said that they were not on sale and should be ful price. However as I had been charged lower price previously she refunded difference.
Then went to the other store and got a Ted Baker Laptop bag ( they had loads!!) and a few other bits pieces. I also split this shopping to use more 100point vouchers and then used up 4 Skin Care vouchers on more Time Delay. I would have like some Skin Sanctuary but all the lower priced items were gone. I got another highlighter with a 50p wipe and another magazine. I then decided to use up the 3 Highlighter vouchers I had left but they only had the pinky shade. I was served by 2 lovely ladies and when I asked if they had the other shades they laughd and pointed to all the highlighters they had on the tills ready to give away ( well almost)
So I had a good day and all the assistants were great. I am especially pleased with the chocolates.
Just one more question has anybody seen any of the Badger stuff as I really want some?0 -
