Have just complained about just this. l deliberately click on items in stock, and yet everytime l try to purchase somthing in stock l get told that it is out of stock or sold out.Am really fed up as it is such a waste of time.
Anywa will let you know if l get anywhere. l just wonder if anyone is managing to but anything in their sale apart from wrapping paper at the moment?
I have complained too to CS they have added points to my advantage for the items it did let me order then they tell me they are out of stock.
They were very nice and understanding however I did tell them they need to update there system because its obviously not working!

LOL I know what you mean!!! This imaginary shopping we are doing putting ivisible items into our shopping baskets is soooo time consuming.... And we don't get anything at the end of it!... We must be mad! lol
Yep l think we are,but have threatened to go to Watchdog and Trading Standards about them as they are guilty of misrepresentation by offering goods for sale that they quite obviously do not have!
    Wish me luck!

Anyone know if there are any accessorize hat boxes in Sutton or Kingston surrey. Saw them on tuesday but didn't pick one up and now want one. I've tried colliers wood and purley way since but haven't had an luck.

    Thanks

I don't know which is more annoying, the out of stock items that still show as in stock, or the ones that you put in your basket successfully, pay for and get a confirmation e-mail about - only to get the dreaded 'Order partially despatched' e-mail a few days later and they are cancelled

Still, got lots of good toy bargains so am probably just being greedy :o
  • just A note there is a new style hat boxes for valentines day ipicked it upthinking it was part of the sale and suprised when asked for £18 lol put it straight back x

Been to Hanley today, what a disapointment! I am gutted!
nothing left except a few scabby crackers and the Ted Baker sets. You lot obviously beat me to it. I couldn't get to a store on tuesday, had to wait until my day off today, ah well never mind. I did get a magazine tho,so may try the highlighter trick! Has anyone opend it? Is it a shimmery powder?

I'll let you all know how they respond to my letter asking why on earth their stock control is so hopeless, and why they can't design a system that locks a purchase once you've paid and had the confirmation email.

I have vowed never to order from M&S online - I shall be very sad if Boots goes the same way.

    Hi,
Have just tried the Liz Earle polisher + cloth and found them really nice. Anyone know of Boots similar product? (want to save some money).
    TIA

Sanctuary spa do a Hot cloth Cleanser which works the same way but doesn't smell quite so nice
Its £9.95 and lasts for ages ( you can use £5 skincare to get £5 off ) .
I also believe Tescos do one too

Thanks for the tip dotchas. I found the sanctuary one online.
As for the Tesco one, I tried searching by "cleanser" and "hot cloth" online without sucess. Does anyone know which product this might be?
