Had to go into Canterbury store again this evening - no, honestly, DS2 wanted some photos!!

A lot of empty shelf space, but a few different things out.

    Ted Baker Laptop bags
Ted Baker men's sets, with either clock or radio
    Lynx sets, with magazine subscriptions
    Elle evening bags
    Bottles of wine in holders/racks
    Flaming pudding kits
    Wine coolers
Mulled wine kits (these look really nice!)
Lots of the uplifting aromatherapy sets
Smaller sets with magnolia, lavender, rose (I think)
Very little for children, but there were some Bratz bits, for dressing up I think, also pink fairy wings and wands
Dr Who money boxes, the cybermen ones

On the clearance shelves nearer the photo dept there is quite a bit of No 7 makeup, and some perfumes, as well as last year's swimwear.

Hope this is of help to someone! (I can't buy it all...)

Thanks to sam84uk, bylromarha, straightlox, ella2002.

Now I can see the points of my OH too. In the past, I thought that it was my own money and I am not in debt at all (always pay every card in full - no outstanding debt to pay). But you are right, I can spend that amount of money in other things else. And my children have already got loads of toys, dvds, story books, cloth, games, etc.. I've actually spoiled them with materials. I work hard and not much time to spend with them -- so materials were the things to fullfil my guilt of not being with them. Though I work from home most of the time, but my working time is mostly during the night. Thus no chance to do bedtime stories with kids or taking them to school in early morning. We haven't got a proper family holiday for 2 years already due to OH and me can't get the time off at the same time.

Cut it short, I will keep few items for some special occassions (not giving them as normal like in the past). The rest will be returned or put them on ebay. Will clear out this soon. So OH will impress with my listening to his words.

Dare not return all as many SAs in my 3 local stores have already recognised me. Will reduce the amount of money and time to spend on my shopping (I normally drag my kids with me on weekends while OH was away).

Many thanks anyway. Your words made me feel really much better.

Oh hon - I feel for you!! I can see your thinking completely but can also spot your OH's lack of understanding and his resultant frustration.

I don't think it helps either, that our .com deliveries are SO bulky - boxes the size of small cars that contain a lipstick and an awful lot of brown paper it seems sometimes!

I think toys etc in the 75% sale are an absolute bargain, and can save you money as long as they are with a purpose. I've managed a few bits in the online sale and sorted birthdays and christmas for this year, and am in the process of labelling boxes and hauling them into the loft.

I suspect that had you had the opportunity to do the same, your resultant organisation, thrift and generosity would have been applauded by your OH.

You work, you earn, you deserve to make your own decisions on this. I hope that your OH soon calms, you can talk together and see the benefits in the long run.

Big hugs to you, and hope you can decide on your next steps when things have calmed.

    ;) xx

    Part of the Furniture
:D Quite pleased with myself today - managed to successfully do the No 7 50p tan wipe with the free £10.50 High Lights and used the skincare voucher to get the 'Sunshine Gradual Tan SPF15 Daily Moisturiser' also for 50p. My very first Boots points/voucher deal so feeling smug! (Thanks MSE) I wouldn't have the confidence (yet!?) to get extra mags, or try some of these other 'complicated' deals some of you get up to! It was all I could do to remember the products I was 'supposed' to get for this deal!

Did pick up a 'Gem Styler' for £7 in the clearance section on a whim... sales shopping is just SO addictive!

Look at what you have purchased and keep what you really want to give the kids for birthdays and perhaps some towards Christmas. Put the rest on ebay and show your OH that you can not only save money on buying the presents, but can also make money....so you haven't wasted time or money.

I agree with this. Considering we're all supposed to be reducing our waste Boots.com seem to be a bit OTT here. Tomorrow I'm going to make a note of my haul because things tend to get put away in this house and then forgotten about so by Christmas the kids end up ridiculously spoilt. We'll then condense everything as much as we can and hubby will be sticking it all in the loft. Although I managed to get a couple more things today so that'll be more to go up there. Plus I ordered the last few boxes of Pampers nappies today as there was a glitch on them so we'll need to find a home for them.
