I was in Swansea at 9am and got some brilliant bargains-variations on those already listed plus was really pleased to get Cludeo for my daughter for only
£3.54-all other shops have it at nearer £14 as been lookingfor it-also had cranium and lots of other really good games reduced.Did three shops-my car was packed but done ll xmas prssies and gifts for the year and only spent points.
Huge thanks for all the tips!:j this money saving is such fun:T0 -
I'm glad you all got lots of nice bargains- I was really looking forward to going bargain hunting today and then yesterday I fell over and was taken to hospital- I have broken my leg! I am so gutted as I won't be able to go to Boots now- sad I know but I was so excited about this sale
Sorry to hear that, hope you're on the mend soon - I'm sure there will be other great bargains to be had this year. Just focus on all the money you have saved!!2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -

I hope the above makes sense, I know what I mean. I am seriously considering going back to Boots tomorrow to try
.
BTW Lindt Lindor chocolate balls in the gold box (yumyum) are still scanning at £1.45, just like yesterday. And I missed the Panetto (Italian cake thing) in the online sale, but got the last one in my store this morning for £3 instead of £12. More yumyum! And didn't spend any real money, just points, woohoo.
Do check your receipt carefully though! I reported this morning about the Bratz Shower Gels still scanning at full price £3 (instead of 75p), but this thread is growing sooooooooooo quickly, it's disappeared off the page already.

I tried the wipe with the highlighter today in Woking Boots and the SA was having none of it. I tried again at the photo desk but the SA there said no as well.0 -
I had to laugh this morning...
I went to the Oldham sale and bought loads myself, kept passing a lady in the store who had even more than me, I paid for my shopping, nipped to Argos and then went for a taxi, (I had my son with me to help) anyway I turned round and the lady with all the shopping was just behind me with about 6 bags and 2 boots shop assistants in tow who each had 4 or 5 bags each all trailing down to the taxi rank which is about 5 minutes walk away, I'm suprised the staff were allowed/ prepared to do this,
so welldone to those shop assistants:j it's good to see they CAN be sohelpful
(Sorry for anymistakes-I'm using one ofthe roll-up keyboards that I bought this morning- it's rubbishWINS of 2008 :j

I am not sure if this is relevant but thought i'd mention it.
I found two 50p no7 tan wipes today.
I tried to combine the no7 highlighter, one of the 50p tan wipe and 200 no7 points in one transaction. But the highlighter didn't scan through as free and SA also said 200 pointer hasn't registered, so I asked him to void that transaction.
The 2nd wipe was used in conjunction with another 2 No7 compact (now £4 each), plus highlighter and 200 no7 points voucher. I thought that it might work as 342 and free highlighter (prev it did for me on normal price no7 342 and free illuminator). BUT, the 200 points didnt scan and the wipe and highlighter didnt come up as free. Looking at the receipt, I noticed the wipe is entered as beauty , NOT not No7 wipe (or along those lines).
So, my guess is, it might work if ALL the products were entered as No7 ???
The things is, how do you get the SA to enter item as No7 and not 'beauty'?
Sorry for the long post and hope i make sense0 -
I had a sleepless night worrying that I would nor get up in time to drive to Bath ( 30 mins away ) to get there by 8.00 a.m. Got there at 7.45 and I was only one outside. When I went in there was only me and a few SA's shopping. I filled 2 baskets and got £160.00 of goods for £40.00 of points!! Also got 2 Time Delay wipes with vouchers, and 2 Illuminating Powders ( although I had to buy £6.00 wipes as it would not work with reduced stuff!! One of them is for lady who asked for one on here last night. I will look back to her post and then send it on. I then drove home to my small Boots and the signs said 50% but everything was at 75% and the only other customrs was one of the staff in on her day off ( she had 3 bags full ) . I bought 2 of the hand treatment gift sets at £2.00 each amd some baby slipper socks with the points I had got earlier whilst using the 250 points vouchers on the illuminating powder. I then spent £5.00 on a couple of more things. So I only spent £18.00 in cash nd have got £245.00 worth of goods.
Then when I got home this evening there were 4 parcels from the .com sale and I am too tired to open them and cant even remember what I ordered!!
I must say I also found the staff to be excellent at both stores.
Now can I resist the urge to keep away until the 29th!!
Roll on Thursday as it is the Hoxton Hotel £1.00 sale again0 -
Hi, I just wondered if anyone has been to Meadowhall late today and if there was alot of stuff left (especially toys)?
.
I went to the Barnsley store today which was good for the smellies but they dont put the toys on saleso thought I mignt check out Meadoehall tomorrow - or not if there isn't much left
.
I have a 2 year year old daughter who doesn't like shopping and would hate to get her all the way to meadowhall to find out theres nothing left.
Thanks in advance0 -
Thank you my 1st ever 75% sale, and i went crazy, i didnt know what to do with myself, i was esp pleased with my R&M make up set managed to get 2 and i brought 3 accessorize hat box sets, spa sets, ted baker sets, wine in rack ... (saved loads of money) now just gotta sit down and see who i am going to give what.
Was hoping to get some bits for the children but they wasnt much there for them, and i dont think i can trust myself to go back again.
Thanks again, feel really happy but a bit sick that i have spent so much. Should of done a list. I reckon i have got another to last for 2 years worth of pressie's. hee hee0 -
but they dont put the toys on sale
so thought I mignt check out Meadoehall tomorrow
Yeah i also noticed that, do they reduce them at a later stage?"Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering"0 -
I got the second batch of my online order today. I received 3 boxes yesterday and another 12(!) today. Thank goodness for great neighbours as I was at work when it was delivered.
I went round to collect it after my DD's were in bed & when I brought it all back in my OH just stood there shaking his head saying what are you like...
Still I now have 16 birthdays sorted & 15 Xmas present plus some of it my parents have bought off us for the girls.
I am going to go into Swindon tomorrow if it is not raining too hard to see what they have in the sale, I know last week they had loads of stuff & their 50% off signs were not very good so hopefully they have not advertised the 75% off very well either.
