This has been my first time that I have known the date in advance so was able to have a plan. ;) (lol)

    Got up early,
Put rubbish out, (made sure i have lots of space for any purchases:whistle: !!)
    Took ds to school,

Drove to Boots @ Riverside, Northampton;- they had quite a lot of stuff, but marked at 50%. However when i asked staff, they said it was not due to go down to 75% till later in the month - (have i been fobbed off ?!?!?)

Went to Boots @ Weston Faville, and they had very little there but it is all marked 75% off. So I bourght:-
    17 Shimmer Purse -was £6 Now £1.50:j
Exclamation (Spray & lip gloss) -was £4.95 Now £1.23:j
Rose Bath Crystals -was £3 Now £0.75p:j
No.7 Mini Lip Gloss Gift -was £15 Now £3.75:j

There were loads of the bath crystals, 17 shimmer purse.
Also a few of the higher priced (£15/£20) ladies and mens gift boxes, crackers, kids bubble bath. But not that many.

:question:Anyone been to Sixfields, Town Centre, wellingbourough or surrounding areas and can comment on if they are worth going ?

Been to St ALbans and London Colney-loads of stuff but going fast!

Sounds like lots of you are paying with points, but if you are going to spend cash, check the ACM. I got 100points on £15 spend, and printed out loads of them. Then split my huge haul into about 6 different transactions to maximise points. SA serving me didnt mind, but one next to her had a mouth like a cats a!se! Made it even more worth while!

Or like me, split it into 8 different transactions and get 8 facial vouchers and then get 8 x TD wipes for free.

    Hi,

I've not been on here for a long while as had to go back to work - maternity leave came to an end. Luckily I work part time and have Tuesdays 'off'.

I too was at the London Colney Boots and stuff really was flying. One lady had two trolleys and had them filled to the brim and said it was her second trip round the store! The staff were really pleasant and said they'd already been allowed to choose their bargains. Infact some staff were 'shopping' with the customers!

I was there at 9am and most of the baby toy stuff had gone which was what I was after. Never mind.

Still got plenty of bargains though. Used my points to pay for everything which means I'll have to earn some more now. Spent about £60 on presents that were worth much more than that. :j Have to calculate how much as I've just got back (I went to baby signing after, haven't spent that long in Boots) and put my baby girl to bed. Will try the Welwyn Garden City Boots later even though it's quite small.

Good luck to everyone else with their bargains.:hello:

Went in the Lowestoft one today, anyone else???

i didn't get there til 10 by time got daughter to school and walked there in rain.

I'm sure the lady behind me was an MSEr as she had so many bags of stuff...Like me last year... whoever you were you did well....(it was my little boy who needed a 'wee') lol

well done all, i just got 2 small bags full, not like my 3 massive ones last year, as funds v v low at moment, but only paid £2 cash, so v pleased!!

TOP TIP FOR MUMS - the 2 pk chocolate Xmas lolly's are also reduced to 25p for pack of 2 so a great bribe for good behavior on the way round :)

Just got back from Boots in Sutton, Surrey and they have sales stock reduced to 75%. Still got loads of stuff.

I spent £35.00 got £10 ish back in points by using various vouchers double points etc. but save £110, so very very happy.

Best buy was bottle of wine in a 3 bottle wine rack for £3.75 each.

Now got 2 £5.00 till spits, but have no idea what you can get for free or very little, so grateful for some suggestions.

    Hi Jediteacher

Sad to say the lady with two trolley loads wasnt me! I only had one load there!!
I was also thinking of Luton store which is huge! Always lots of toys. But already panicking about what DH will say with the mountains of bage I have here!
Did you see the big red boxes 'Learning Through Play Rocking Snake?' (suitable from 18 months) upstairs? They were marked up at half price at £12.50 but when I checked at the till they were £6.25. So I picked one up for my niece's first birthday in MArch. They are great value! They had quite a few left and most people were walking past them as they werent obvioulsy in the 75% sale.
