If the terms say "You must pay in £1000 to qualify" with no caveats then you could pay in £1 1000x or £1000 or whatever combination you wanted. Similarly, if the terms do not say "you must leave £1000 in for X amount of time" then the money can be moved in and out and satisfy the criteriaSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I've just got my £100, it was surprisingly quick given how slow and old fashioned they seem to be with everything else. I made the 10th debit card payment on Saturday, today (three days later) I got an email saying I had qualified and two hours after that I had the money in the account.0

You will also get a helpful email telling you exactly what you have to do to get the first extra £25, and the dates between which you must do it, with similar emails in subsequent months for your 2nd and third bonuses.0
