Advice for Watertanking Kit & Extractor Fan

Hi All,
My elderly parents are due to have the bathroom renovated. The builder who gave the quote he has suggested to be cost effective to use the Everbuild (?) but when I have googled it seems to suggest that BAL or Mapei tanking waterproofing systems are better albeit more expensive. I know it's not necessary to have the entire bathroom to have the waterproofing done but this is what would be preferred. I want something of excellent quality, durable, and long-lasting as my elderly parents cannot have problems to deal with and family regularly visit and stay with them.
Has anyone had waterproofing carried out or have experience with this and what do you suggest?
Thanks all advice appreciated x

I can't advise on the tanking process /products but if you're after an extractor fan, get one with decent extraction and a humidistat - this will come on and remove excess moisture when it's detected.
We have ones similar to this one and they work really well and are quiet when they come on to do a bit of extra extraction!

Hi,
Thanks, I was just looking at bathroom extractor fans, I had the one you suggested open and the HIB cyclone bathroom extractor fan and Airflow Icon 30 and was comparing them all.
