TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISS x on air comp 17” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. 

 

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS	Entries are restricted to one entry per person.   Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   KISS | Play live radio on Rayo Online entry is free of charge
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	There will be five (4) ( “winners”) of the competition in total. 4 winners on air.   On air: To be eligible to (“win”), entrants must tell us the following details:   Full name and contact details ·       Tell us which destination is your dream holiday and why from Croatia, Italy and France.   Entries will be judged by how compelling they are. All valid entries will be pooled and then judged by the KISS Radio production team, the production manager and an independent judge.   We will be shortlisting entries during the competition period from the start of the competition on 17/09/2025 at 00.01 am until the close of the online competition entry period on 19/09/2025 at 10:00 am. Upon shortlisting, the entrant may be contacted by a member of the KISS production team and asked to provide their entry piece again verbally over the phone. The entry must match that which was entered online. Being shortlisted and contacted does not mean the shortlisted entrant is a winner, they will only be deemed a winner by the KISS Radio production team during the on-air competition round.   KISS Radio has the right to pre-record any competition rounds and play them as live during the KISS Radio shows.   ·      The competition will air during the KISS weekend shows on Saturday 20th September and Sunday 21st September between the hours of 7am and 3 pm   Exact timings of the competition within this broader timeframe will be given on air by the presenter for each show.   ·       By pre-registering for the on-air competition, you agree to have your story and nomination read on air. If your story is read out on air it does not mean that you are a winner. ·       Only upon being told that your nomination is the winner or by being the winning name announced by the presenter, will an entrant become a winner. ·       All final decisions will rest with the Magic Production team.   If the contestant wins a prize and it is subsequently discovered that they do not fulfil these specific terms and conditions, nor the general competition terms and conditions, they will be disqualified. 3.ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   Entrants must pre-register online at KISS | Play live radio on Rayo from 17th September 2025 at 00:01 am (“Start Time”) until the 19thSeptember at 10 am (“End Time”).   Shortlisted entries will be contacted by our production team to bring to air in advance of the live date. If for any reason the call drops out or we are unable to contact an entrant, the production team reserves the right to re-draw another entrant.   Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Bauer employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms. Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio Brand, will not be eligible to take part in this competition nor will anyone else at their address. 5. THE PRIZE	There will be 4 (four) winners in total during the competition period.   4 (four) winners from each of the competition dates stated in section (2) will receive the following prize (the “Prize”):   Prize package for 2 people includes: Return economy flights from London to Tivat (Montenegro), Split (Croatia), South of France (Nice) and Cagliari (Sardinia) Return transfers in the winner’s chosen destination 3 nights’ 4-star hotel accommodation in the winner's choice of provided location,  based on sharing a double occupancy room with breakfast £200 spending money (winner only) Travel insurance Terms and Conditions: The prize package is for two (2) people, all of whom must travel at the same time with the same itinerary;  At least 1 person travelling must be over the age of 18; where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission; Economy flights from London only (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties); Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; Travel arrangements, including costs relating to public transport, fuel or parking, to and from the winner or companion/s’ home and UK departure airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion/s; Accommodation is based on two (2) adults sharing one (1) double occupancy room in Dubrovnik; Accommodation will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; A valid credit or debit card for incidentals may be required to guarantee your room on check in and therefore at least one of the travellers must possess and travel with a valid credit or debit card; The prize excludes domestic ground transfers, meals and drinks, hotel incidentals, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package; All elements of the prize are subject to availability; if unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and equal monetary value may be offered at the prize provider’s discretion; Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. Travel insurance provided is a basic single trip policy and it is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical conditions and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 70 or over; Levels of coverage will vary and it is the winner and guest’s responsibility to ensure that the level of coverage offered is sufficient for their circumstances; All cash allowances listed will be sent via bank transfer to the winner’s nominated account, recipient of funds must be aged 18 years or older; Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure; Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled; Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available; Prize cannot be taken over Christmas and New Year (19 December – 4 January) Public Holidays, July or August; Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time; All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or additional insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guests; If the winner elects not to, or is unable to, use part of the prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize package; Prize must be taken in accordance with government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions in place at the time of travel, the arrangement and additional costs for any COVID-19 testing, quarantine accommodation or anything else that may be required is sole responsibility of the winner and guest; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. 1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to a Prize Provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. For SMS entries you automatically consent to receive marketing. 1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS.

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.
• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.

 

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
