E: 31/10 Win a three-night stay in North Wales (Gleam)

Answer - Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa
The experience
Located in the southern part of Eryri National Park, on the edge of the Mawddach Estuary, Penmaenuchaf is an elegant country house surrounded by dramatic mountains and serene waters. Just minutes from the market town of Dolgellau and the golden beaches of Barmouth, it’s well-placed for walkers keen to hike nearby Cadair Idris or Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) — the highest mountain in Wales. History-lovers will enjoy Harlech Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Offering traditional charm and breathtaking views, the newly refurbished hotel makes for a peaceful retreat after a day of adventuring. Stroll through the grounds, wander into Coed y Brenin Forest Park or simply relax and watch the light change over the mountains.
The prize
The winner and guest will enjoy a three-night stay in a Penmaenuchaf suite. They’ll be treated to daily breakfasts, along with one tasting menu for two on an evening of their choice, accompanied by a bottle of wine selected by the sommelier. Bookings are subject to availability and exclude all public holidays, Valentine’s Day (14 February), Mother’s Day (15 March), Father’s Day (21 June) and the festive period (20 December to 1 January). Please note that the hotel is closed for refurbishment between 4 January and 3 February 2026. The prize is valid from 31 October 2025 until 31 October 2026.

Surely the answer for the highest mountain in Wales is Yr Wyddfa, given the name has changed from Snowdon in 2022?3

@spandit Thanks, I'm sure either will be accepted as Yr Wyddfa is just Snowdon in Welsh.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Shopping & Freebies and MoneySaving boards.
