At the moment I don’t have an EV but am looking to get one again. I am currently on Agile and had planned to stay with it until spring when I would move to Intelligent Flux as you suggest. Does the PW3 integrate well with Agile? Is it able to access the Agile rates and plan charging and discharging to optimise them or does one have to manually programme each day?
Northern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kWwest facing panels , 3.6 kWeast facing), Solis inverters installed 2018, 5kW SSE facing system (shaded in afternoon) added in 2025 with Tesla PW3 battery, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted A2A Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner.

It will work but needs daily programming. I suspect you will be better suited to regular Octopus Go with the understanding that the EV will arrive soon (I don't believe Octopus checks this but I could be wrong)

Was going to start a query on this but as its a fairly straightforward question I will just ask here.

I have been looking at my electric tariff, am currently on flux for import and export and see that the export rates have reduced ALOT over the last year or so and as I don't have a battery is it simply better to just switch to outgoing octopus and couple it with the standard fixed tariff?

We don't own a battery ( grid consumption of ~1500kWh p.a. makes it impossible to justify one financially) and are on Agile incoming and Outgoing 15p. While not as lucrative as Flux used to be, it's worked well for us for most of the year, where we export 5X (at 15p per kWh) our grid import (at < 10p per kWh).

Thanks, I will look into Agile.
I have a slightly larger grid consumption 1760kWh last year (1330kWh so for this year though) and I tried to make it work for a battery but couldn't either.
