Postgrad Banking

I've noticed that lots of banks offer great deals to undergraduates or those doing courses of more than 2 years (like 0% overdrafts). I'm going back to uni as a mature student to do a 1 year postgrad. Does anyone know if any bank would accept a 1 year course to apply for a student account?

Are you seeking to get student perks of some sort?
Edit: HSBC appears to offer one, but only if you completed your undergraduate degree less than 3 years ago

Most banks offer a "graduate" account but these are designed for recent graduates as they transition into normal life rather than those doing a post-grad qualification. Most require you to be a recent graduate and some also require that your undergraduate account was with them... with the likes of Barclays the undergrad account becomes a grad account automatically.Emmia said:Are you seeking to get student perks of some sort?

No one seems to be targeting the mature student going back to uni for a short post-grad qualification1 -
This doesn't appear true - UCAS applications are clearly the default but other routes are possible e.g. TSBMyRealNameToo said:

If you are studying full-time for a master's degree or PHD, you can qualify for, or extend, your student bank account.0
