Roll up holiday pay and Carers Allowance

Hi
I currently get carers allowance for my disabled son and earn less than the threshold for eligibility through a part time job.
I start a new job in 3 weeks in an education setting and while my weekly pay is still within the limit to still be able to claim carers allowance, my new employer pays Roll Up holiday pay each month.
This plus my wage would mean I am earning too much and would lose my carers allowance.
I spoke to DWP and they said in some cases they would ignore the roll up holiday pay as it's a separate thing to my pay but sometimes they don't and a decision maker would have to tell me one way or the other.
This was weeks ago and despite chasing I've heard nothing.
Does anyone have any experience with this please? Starting to stress now.

Unfortunately very messy and it is up to claimant to prove hours/earnings are on average within the allowed threshold.
I have seen some people have had to reduce hours slightly and overpayment generated leading to appeals.
It would help your case if you provided some evidence including employers information that on average your pay will be within threshold. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.1 -
Thank you!
I know my actual pay will be within the threshold it's just the added line on the payslip for the uplift for roll up holidays that I can't get a definitive answer on. Even the person I spoke to at DWP couldn't say one way or another as sometimes it's ignored other times included in their calculation for eligibility for carers allowance
My new employer has said they would be willing to change the wage system so I would get holiday pay when actually on holiday like half-term etc so there's a way around it. Just want to make sure I have all the information before the change has to be made.
Thanks again!1
