I wonder if you once had an RTS system, which involved switching heating loads on and off in response to radio signals. That's not how smart meters work. The supplier sends commands to the meter to configure it for the tariff agreed. This includes setting the ALCS calendar for a multi-rate tariff. Once set, this calendar won't change until it's reset. This is what it sounds as if Octopus need to do.I'm not being lazy ...
