I’m rolling my Income Bond over at 4.18% for another year. I like monthly income from savings and the best monthly paying bond I can find is 4.4% so not worth moving to then be limited by an FSCS guarantee  :/

Does anyone know if customer services have the ability to execute withdrawals to my external nominated account over the phone? My GGB recently expired and for some reason I am not getting the automated security calls when I try to do an online withdrawal. I am on holiday overseas and so the issue may be related to that. I have in the meantime opened a new GGB which I plan to cancel upon return to the UK (before the 30 day cooling off period ends) which ensures that I'm still earning interest in the meantime.

    Thanks.

This line from the T&Cs suggests you can cancel the bond online or by phone/post.

"If you change your mind, you can cancel within 30 days of receiving confirmation of your Bond. You can do this online or by phone, or you can write to us"
