Hello, I received a Notice from Alliance Parking for 10 mins staying on the Pottery  street Swansea without any marks, not on the parking bays. I was trying to find a relative business to appeal, but unsuccessful. 
Only one mark I found on the street, the photo attached above. It mentioned that road is Private, but no names and contacts. 
Could you help me please to find out someone to appeal.

Generally there is no genuine appeals process because you just have an invoice, no different than you'd get from a plumber.

Alliance Parking offer an internal "appeals" process, which will be described on their notice (Notice to Keeper in the post?). Chances of success - 0.01%

After that you can go to the Independent Appeals Service. Chances of success - 4%.

So the usual advice is to keep your evidence (of no signage/contract presumably) and look out for a Letter Before Action from a solicitor.

Certainly don't be paying. But post up your notice, with personal details removed.

I wanted to follow Plan A - to appeal for retailer or landlord - but couldn't find any info regarding this

The termination of double yellows on public highway suggests no parking restrictions on the private land it turns into. 

They should add their own lines, otherwise it screams "please park here".

There should also be a clear demarcation between public and private road by means of sign stating it is private land.

The creased foamex cabled-tied signs suggest this site is an amateur operation.

You need a new thread for this one. And redact the NTK properly as the image you posted shows your full name.

Yes that's private parking but you also ignore UKCPM.

Do NOT pay these but there is no appeal because Alliance and UKCPM are both in the (considered anti-consumer) IPC trade body.

Stop parking where you see such signs; you need to be alert to these scam traps. I would literally NEVER stop my car there.

Just to jump in on this thread, I've had exactly the same PCN from Alliance Parking, for a different vehicle obviously, but parked in exactly the same location. (I was not the driver.)

However, the location quoted, Llais Tawe, SA1 1DL, does not accurately represent where the vehicle is parked. In fact, no such street exists.

That post code only covers addresses on New Cut Road, and the entrance to the road where the double yellow lines behind the vehicle are shown (the double yellow lines part of the road is adopted, hence is not private land).

On the basis that the location on the PCN is inaccurate, I believe that the notice is not PoFA compliant, as it does not meet POFA 2012 (Schedule 4) Paragraph 9 (2) (a)…

The notice must— specify the vehicle, (and) the relevant land on which it was parked 

Opinions welcome, am I right in that thought?

Failing that, I think the entrance sign (as shown above) is not compliant with the IPC Code of Practice Annex A (which matches the POPLA code I believe). It should at the least contain Group 1 standard wording "Permit Holders Only" and probably Group 2 text to indicate 'Private Land' and 'Terms and Conditions Apply'. Again, I'd welcome any thoughts on that.
