Alias added to report same as my name

A car leasing company have added an alias to my credit report which is identical to my name why they have done this I don't know

Is it ok to leave it or should I have it removed, my Experian score does not seem to be affected

Probably a good old-fashioned human error.
And if you’re looking for credit, companies will be looking at your credit history and their own scoring systems, not a credit reference  score which has very little meaning anyway.

    I wouldn’t worry about it.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
