Deed of certificate - Can’t find the previous owner

Who even comes up with these forms? It's absurd to expect the owner to know the personal business of previous owners, and to expect the previous owner to have any interest in communicating their personal information to some random (no offence intended) third party.
Option 2 doesn't even have the date of 2022, making it - legally speaking - worthless.
If I were filling out that form I'd cross the lot out and go on to the next question.0 -

The information should have already been collected by the managing agents. Ask them.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Is this all a bit over the top for a building that doesn’t have cladding? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

our solicitor insists that we need to wait for the previous owner to answer, and the management company have no idea. does it make sense? it’s been like this for 3 weeks and this is the only thing left. we are really stuck here0

Can you escalate within the firm?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

we belive the previous owner lived there cause the neighbors told us when we moved and also we got her mail for some time after we bought the flat so we assumed she lived there. (it was magazine she had a subscription to) but yet the solicitor is not happy. it’s unbelievable0
