Parking Fine -ZZPS

Good morning,
I was hoping someone could help me please as I’m trying to understand the technicalities of a parking fine I have received please.
My car is leased through a Company EV scheme so the notice of the parking fine was initially sent to the leasing company. The leasing company then passed this on to me (via email) but I was on holiday when this come through.

Ive logged on to the ZZPS website to see the cost of the fine and this is £170. The car park is at a TFL station and run by Saba.
Whilst I accept a fine is owed, the amount is disproportionate to the parking charge that was missed (£12 - TFL station parking).
The leasing company have given me details of how to pay this but said I can’t appeal it until the issuer accepts the transfer of liability.
I am worried the fine is going to increase further whilst this process plays out.
I would really appreciate and advice or guidance to resolve this asap.
many thanks

SABA should send you a Notice to Hirer in your name and your address, to deal with, as explained in the first post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum
Getting a copy of the NTK from the lease company is just to inform you of the impending NtH with your name on it
Ignore ZZPS, you are waiting for the invoice with your details on it, your subsequent appeal goes to SABA , not ZZPS
A Penalty or charge bears no relation to the original charge, even if it was a £5 tram fare that wasn't paid, the Penalty for non payment tends to be £100 , regardless of the original fare
The £170 is because ZZPS added on an extra £70 spurious unwarranted charge for themselves (pigs in the trough)
You should ensure that the lease company informed SABA of the hirer or lessee and transferred the liability, plus as its a train station the keeper has no liability anyway, meaning that the lease company have no liability4 -
A heads-up - never state in any correspondence who the driver was - you always refer to yourself as the hirer.5

I am worried the fine is going to increase. You don't have a fine and it's not going to increase. Is the letter sent to the lease firm a Parking Charge Notice or a Penalty Notice?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you - my only correspondence so far has been from the lease company stating that they have made representations to transfer the liability.
do I just wait to hear from Saba directly then?0 -
If the lease company has formally transferred liability, then you wait to hear from Saba. They may be reluctant to engage with you as this has now gone to ZZPS who you can ignore (and their misleading offshoot CGTT bailiffs!).homereno76 said:Thank you - my only correspondence so far has been from the lease company stating that they have made representations to transfer the liability.
do I just wait to hear from Saba directly then?Try to get your lease company to confirm they have transferred liability - a copy of what they've sent to Saba would be useful. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
