Octopus intelligent go versus intelligent Drive pack

Hi looking for views or comments on which tariff would likely be best.

when I look I see that whilst the car charging rate is only 7p a unit for intelligent Go but it the 30p a unit in my area for the rest of the time.  However for drive pack it only 25p a unit, but the £30 a month for the car.

Based on a 10000 mile year use which I am guessing at around 3100 kWh and around 3800 kWh current usage (very little of which is overnight) I am seeing that drive pack is likely to work out £50-100 a year cheaper.

is this correct or am I missing stitch the go tariff?

    Your maths add up.
    Intelligent Go: 3100 * 0.07 + 3800 * 0.30 = £1357
    SVT & Drive: £360 + 3800 * 0.25 = £1310
The SVT plus Drive should save you £47 a year, provided you use no electricity whatsoever for your house during the six hours a night when IOG is 7p/kWh.
If you use 1kWh a day in that slot the maths change:
    Intelligent Go: 3465 * 0.07 + 3435 * 0.30 = £1273
So, in this case, IOG is cheaper.
Have you got a smart meter? If you look at your half-hour metering graphs, how much electricity do you normally use overnight from 2330-0530?

A couple of other things to factor into the calculation:

    1) Is there anything else in the house that could be switched to the overnight 6 hours? and

    2) Intelligent Octopus Go regularly charges my car outside the overnight 6 hours and during that time everything else in the house is getting that cheap rate electricity, so that will naturally drag your average daytime rate down.
