I look around to spot people doing a job so I can see how well they do it and ask for their number if it's good.
And ask neighbours who they use.
I got 2 panels with trellis and 2 posts for £150 plus the cost of materials. They bought from where they knew was best. Posts from builders merchants, panels from sawmills and bought them with them.
When a panel needed adjusting they took it apart and adjusted.
I've had a concrete support put in for £98 by a self employed guy. Ex fencer left a firm because of injury.
Same done by local garden centre £300 😮I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
