  • You could definitely save money on the white goods by sourcing them separately. I would also get quotes from a few other kitchen manufacturers and compare quotes. I’ve just done my kitchen and managed to save a few thousand by doing this.

That seems about 30-40% more expensive than what I paid for similar.  e.g. my larder unit (carcass, doors, exterior covers to match doors, fixings etc) was about £730.  I would try a quote from somewhere else.  If you have a "Range" near you or a Trago Mills, they are both very good value.  I would also buy the appliances separately.  I got all of mine through the kitchen supplier and there were numerous problems; my appliances were delayed by 4 months and the fridge/freezer AND dishwasher broke after 13 months so were out of warranty.

Also I see your worktop is walnut - very expensive.  I take it this is solid wood or is it a veneer?  not very practical if you are prone to getting it wet; we had relatives who got solid wood worktops which changed colour and warped when they got wet, and they had a year long fight to get some money back as the company stated water damage was not covered by the warranty
