  • Terms & Conditions of the Competition: Win a VIP Trip to Paris with Karl Lagerfeld

     

    1. PROMOTER INFORMATION

    The promoter of this competition is Karl Lagerfeld B.V., Herengracht 182, 1016BR Amsterdam, The Netherlands ("Promoter").

    2. ELIGIBILITY

    This competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older residing permanently in one of the following countries: France, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom ("Eligible Countries"). Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible.

    3. COMPETITION PERIOD

    The competition begins at 00:01 CET on September 4, 2025, and ends at 23:59 CET on September 20, 2025. Entries received after this period will not be considered.

    4. HOW TO ENTER

    4.1 Eligible individuals may enter via:
    ● Digital Campaigns: Via CRM emails or digital advertisements on social media leading to the entry form hosted by CRM platform of the Promoter
    ● Website: Via popup or direct visit to www.KarlLagerfeld.com by accessing the dedicated competition page and completing the entry form.
    ● In-Store Activation: At selected stores in France, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom by scanning a QR code displayed on in-store Point-of-Sales (POS) materials to access the competition landing page and submit an entry.
    Digital ads will target users located near participating Karl Lagerfeld stores; users can access the competition page via the POS at their nearest participating Karl Lagerfeld store.

    4.2 Each participant must provide the following information in order to enter:
    ● Full name
    ● Date of birth
    ● Gender
    ● Email address
    ● Country of residence and preferred language
    ● Residential address
    ● Confirmation of acceptance of these Terms & Conditions (otherwise you can not participate)

    4.3 Participation is entirely free of charge. No purchase or payment is required.

    4.4 Participants may also optionally consent to receive marketing communications. This consent is not required for participation in the competition and can be withdrawn at any time.

    4.5 Each individual may enter only once. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

    5. PRIZE

    5.1 There is only (1) one prize awarded. One (1) winner and their guest will receive:

    ● Travel and accommodation will be arranged by the Promoter or its agent.
    ● The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative is offered.
    ● The winner and guest must :
      ○ Be 18 years or older at the time of entry
      ○ Reside in France, Germany, the Netherlands or the United Kingdom
      ○ Have valid travel documents
    ● The winner is responsible for arranging any required visas (if applicable) and health insurance. The Promoter or its agent will arrange travel insurance
    ● The prize can only be be redeemed during Paris Fashion Week 2025, from Monday September 29th to Thursday October 2nd.
    ● The Promoter pays applicable taxes unless stated otherwise by law. When payment of the gambling tax is required in accordance with the Dutch law, the Promoter is responsible for payment of this tax.
    ● The participant is obliged to provide correct, up-to-date and complete information when participating in the competition. The Promoter may request a winner to provide proof of his/her identity and valid registration at the home or residential address provided by the participant prior to awarding the prize.

    ● ·The Promotional Gambling Code (Code voor Promotionele Kansspelen) applies to every contest or sweepstake. Participants who do not meet these conditions may be excluded from participation.

    6. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

    6.1 The winner will be selected at random via an automated draw process under independent supervision, in accordance with Dutch Dutch Gambling Rules (Kansspelregels). Draw will occur on September 21st, one day after the competition close date. The winner will be notified by email within 24 hours of the draw taking place.

    6.2 Winner Selection Process

    The winner will be selected at random using the independent Random.org Third‑Party Draw Service, which generates verifiable random results. Each eligible entry will be assigned a unique number, and the winning number will be drawn automatically. The draw will take place under independent supervision, and a certificate of randomness will be retained as evidence of a fair and transparent selection process. We will not be uploading personal data of participants to this platform.

    The winner should confirm that he/she/ them will claim the prize. If the winner does not respond by email within 24 hours to the e-mail sent (stating he/she/them has won) or meet eligibility, another winner will be selected.

    6.3 Publication

    Winner details (name, country) will be published only with explicit written consent in the communication materials (e.g. an email announcing the winner).

    7. DATA COLLECTION & USAGE

    7.1 By entering the competition, participants agree that their personal data such as: name, date of birth, gender, email address, country, spoken language, residential address, will be processed for the purposes of administering the competition, including contacting the winner and arranging prize fulfilment. Where consent is given to participate in the competition, data will be retained and processed in accordance with the Promoter’s [PRIVACY NOTICE- KARL LAGERFELD COMPETITION].

    By participating in this competition participants agree to the processing of your personal data as described in that notice.

    7.2 Participants of the competition agree their data may be used for:
    ● Administering the competition
    ● Notifying the winner

    7.3 Participants will have the option to provide additional consent for their data to be used for ongoing marketing communications from the Promoter. Optional marketing consent will be captured via an opt-in checkbox. Where legally required (e.g. Germany), a double opt-in email confirmation will be used. Where this consent is given, data will be retained and processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy

    7.4 Data may be shared with:
    ● Affiliated companies of the Promoter
    ● CRM service provider

    7.5 Personal data will be retained only as long as needed for competition fulfilment, unless additional consent is given.

    7.6 Participants may contact: privacy.officer@karllagerfeld.com to access, amend or delete their data.

    7.7 Data may be transferred outside the EEA with Standard Contractual Clauses in place.

    7.8 Data in anonymized format can be shared with the designated competition agency for the purpose of the prize draw : Verve, The Live Agency and Random.org

    8. LIABILITY

    8.1 The Promoter is not liable for:
    ● Technical failures affecting entry submission
    ● Travel or event disruptions
    ● Illness/injury during a trip or event
    ● Lost belongings of the winner or guest

    8.2 The Promoter and/or the auxiliary persons or third parties engaged by cannot be held liable for any damage whatsoever, direct and/or indirect, suffered by a participant in connection with participation in the competition or use of the prize. Total liability is limited to the prize value. Participation in the competition is at the participant's own risk.

    9. FORCE MAJEURE

    The Promoter is not liable for delays or cancellation due to events outside its control (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, pandemics).

    10. AMENDMENTS

    The Promoter may amend these Terms & Conditions or cancel the competition, with updates posted to the competition page.

    11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

    11.1 These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts in Amsterdam.

    11.2 In the event of any dispute or ambiguity regarding the interpretation or application of these Terms and Conditions, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and binding.
