Late to the party - sorry. I think most of these have been covered but here’s my tuppence…

PIP assessments - notes are typed as the questions are asked, the assessor then has 30 minutes to write the report and it is then submitted.  If the assessor is still under training or the report is picked at random it will be audited.  At which point it can bounce back and forth.  If not audited then it will go straight to the DMs workflow.

The assessor will indicate on the assessment the timeframe for reassessment, if not a qualifying report then there is no requirement for a review period to be suggested.

Given the above I find it difficult to understand a) the speed of the decision and b) the explanation of the assessor.

If asked what did I score? I was taught to advise the claimant that this would be decided on by the DM, any other advice eg backdating payment would be caveatted with the words “if successful”…

OP, wait for your decision letter and or request a copy of your assessment.  That way you’ll know what has/hasn’t happened.
