Sky TV discount ending before contract ends

I recontracted my Sky TV last year in September for 2 years, so it runs to Sept 2026. When checking my upcoming bills, the discounts have been removed from October this year (2025) - it appears that they were only applied for 12 months.
I'm not sure if they made a mistake not applying the discount for the full contract term, or if I missed something and locked myself into a full price year
Is this normal for Sky to offer 12 month discounts on a 24 month contract term?

Standard term seems to be 24 months. Over the phone they offer discounts for 6 or 12 months0

You'd need to check the contracts sent and (if you saved it) any chat conversations which is my preferred way of communicating with them.0

Happened to me with an 18 month tie in - some discounts vanished after 12 months - I fortunately ,still had the email from recontracting so after a bit of a faff, I persuaded the CSA to add back the remaining months. Had to be persistent tho' !!0

Thank you all.
I've called Sky and had a mixed response from two CSAs.
CSA#1 was unable (unwilling) to help, stating that the agreement was the agreement and the discounts cannot be extended.
I asked to log a formal complaint for it to be investigated - my issue was that the CSA last year did not make it clear that the discounts would not last for the 24 month term. CSA#1 tried to fob me off by saying nobody can apply the discounts so there was no point complaining(!!)
I was then transferred to CSA#2 who was more sympathetic. She was not able to extend the discount, but offered to recontract for another 24 months with new discounts - this would have increased my TV bill from ~£60 to £83 which I did not accept.
CSA#2 then offered to "exempt the contract" meaning I would be able to amend the TV package at any time - including cancelling the TV service altogether. This means I am free to leave Sky TV which I wasn't planning on doing, but am now seriously thinking about.
My Sky Broadband term is due to end shortly, so I am looking to move everything away from Sky.0
